International tracker - COVID-19 restrictions (last updated 28 July)

Overview

This page was last updated on 28 July 2020.

At a time when restrictive measures are being implemented by governments across the globe in response to COVID-19, we understand it is difficult for organisations to keep abreast of these developments.

With this in mind, and with the assistance of some of the leading lawyers across the globe, we have put together a high-level summary of some of these current government measures. By keeping this data up to date, we will seek to track developments across Europe and around the world1 and monitor progress towards the roll back and easing of lockdown measures.

We hope this information supports our clients during this unprecedented crises and assists them in plotting their way back to something like 'business as usual'.

RETURN TO WORK UPDATES – see our briefing on the UK Government's 11 May 2020 publication of its 'Recovery Strategy' and 'Secure Guidelines'. These documents set out guidance intended to assist general public and businesses in navigating their way through the current crisis. For further information on Health & Safety considerations for employers & businesses in returning to work, see our summary here.

If you would like to discuss any of the information provided herein, or if you would like further information or advice relating to how your business can prepare for a return to work, please get in touch.

Our interactive maps indicate the level of restrictions on a country-by-country basis. Please click on a given country for a more detailed assessment. Alternatively, you can access the data via the printable summary table.

Use the arrows to navigate between Europe, Asia-Pacific and the United States.

We'll be updating this with more information and countries regularly.
