Sara Grey-Elsharif is an associate in the Corporate M&A and ECM Department at Travers Smith.
I have a passion for travel, which has stemmed from my mix of Jamaican and Sudanese heritage. I first flew on an airplane when I was 16 months old, and I haven't stopped since! During my year abroad at University in Hong Kong and Canada, I visited 9 countries in 9 months and have since set a goal to travel to 30 countries before I turn 30. I am also passionate about giving back to the community through charity work with vulnerable groups and mentoring aspiring solicitors.
I first encountered Travers Smith at an event aimed at encouraging diversity within the legal sector. I was attracted to the firm's approachable culture, impeccable training, and high-quality work. There is a strong sense of community at Travers Smith which can be felt through all levels of the firm, and I am extremely excited to start my career here.
