She has worked in both private practice and in-house, focusing primarily on fund formation work. She has been the knowledge counsel and practice manager for the Funds Department at Travers Smith since 2014.
Manisha's expertise is in a broad range of closed-ended alternative listed and private investment funds, perfectly complementing Travers Smiths' award-winning Funds Department. Manisha is very focused on supporting the team to ensure that it can provide the highest quality advice to its clients.
Her role encompasses providing training to fee-earners on technical legal issues, keeping the team abreast of relevant legal developments and upcoming legislative changes, conducting research, and drafting and maintaining standard form template transactional documentation.
In addition to her role at Travers Smith, Manisha is an independent non-executive director of European Opportunities Trust plc.
Manisha holds a joint LLB in Law and Japanese from Cardiff University.
