Jonathan is a knowledge counsel for our Technology & Commercial Transactions Department. His responsibilities include making sure our lawyers and clients are kept up to date with the latest developments in these areas and helping our lawyers to provide the best possible service to clients.
Jonathan qualified in 1996 and joined Travers Smith in 2000. He assists lawyers across the firm with queries and in-depth research on subjects such as major supply arrangements, outsourcings, joint ventures and other commercial contracts, contract law and consumer protection. A key part of his role involves creating and organising know-how to enable our lawyers to provide a first class service to clients without wasting time by "reinventing the wheel". It also includes producing briefings for clients and providing training (both internally and for clients).
Since 2016, Jonathan has been closely involved in the firm's work on Brexit. He is a member of our Brexit Working Group and a regular contributor to the firm's "Beyond Brexit" coverage.
