Jacob is a fourth seat trainee solicitor in the Corporate M&A and ECM department.
Growing up in a reasonably rural area outside Glasgow definitely made moving to London to pursue my career that bit more challenging, but it's been really exciting to adjust to this new place which is so different to back home. Outside the office, you'll probably find me in the kitchen indulging my interest in cooking, or training to keep my skills as a certified First Responder sharp.
I chose to train at Travers Smith after being made to feel so welcome during my Vacation Scheme in 2020, and experiencing how invested the Firm is in its next generation. My time as a paralegal in the Dispute Resolution team before I started training thoroughly reinforced that I had made the correct decision.
