Head of Real Estate

Emma is Head of our Real Estate team. She has a broad real estate practice advising on a range of commercial property transactions, with a particular focus on advising real estate funds and real estate private equity funds on high-value and complex investments, lettings and developments.  

Emma has expertise across a broad range of core and alternative asset classes and represents a number of the firm's key and long-standing real estate clients.

Emma is a member of the Education and Training Committee launched by the Association of Real Estate Funds. This committee is tasked with building a more extensive education and training programme for its members and engaging with a much wider audience of industry participants and investors.

  • Sixth Street and Patron Capital on the acquisition of major UK house builder CALA homes from Legal & General plc.
  • The British Steel Pension Scheme on the disposal of £750m of properties as part of a £7.5bn buy-in transaction with Legal & General.
  • HQ moves for a number of real estate and private equity funds and corporates.
  • Buyers and sellers of a number of real estate SPVs.
  • Nomura Real Estate Development Co, Limited on its acquisition and development of central London real estate.
  • Clearbell Capital on acquisitions, sales, development and asset management work, including of retail parks, offices, life sciences space, logistics and student accommodation.
  • Safestore Holdings plc on acquisitions of other storage businesses.
  • Lothbury on acquisitions, asset management work and ultimately sales across its property portfolio, including of student accommodation, prime logistics facilities and its Covent Garden holding.
  • Stonewall, City YMCA and other charities on various aspects of their property projects.
