Elinor is an associate in the Derivatives & Structured Products Group.
Elinor works with a range of clients including asset managers, banks and other financial institutions, UK pension schemes, funds and corporates on the structure and implementation of derivatives products.
She regularly negotiates and advises on ISDA, GMRA and GMSLA documentation, in addition to documentation of bespoke transactions, to hedge exposure to key market risks, including interest rates, FX, and commodities exposures. Elinor has experience working on custody, clearing and collateral management arrangements (CSA/CSD including for VM and IM), and regularly advises on related regulation including EMIR / UK EMIR, SFTR / UK SFTR, and CSDR / UK CSDR. Her regulatory advisory work covers regulatory optimisation, trading regulation policies, and remediation strategies to rectify gaps in compliance. Elinor also has experience working with pension scheme trustees on covenant and investment matters, including bilateral and agency trading documentation, investment guidelines and investment management agreements for fiduciary and/or segregated mandates.
Elinor is a member of the firm's cross-disciplinary Sustainability Working Group, which works to provide holistic advice on the full spectrum of ESG issues faced by clients. She is also a member of a number of ISDA working groups and Women in Financial Markets (WIFM).
Elinor regularly volunteers at the Legal Advice Centre and is involved in the firm's various pro bono initiatives, including the BEE Financial Literacy Scheme.
