Moving from Germany to the UK when I was young has definitely driven my love for challenges. Since then, I've always loved being out of my comfort zone, whether that is performing in plays, captaining sports teams or solo travelling. My most recent obsession is definitely coffee; having worked in a café throughout my university days, you will now most likely find me sampling London's coffee scene in my time off.
I first met Travers at a recruitment event in Durham. The talk given by the partner was excellent, and set out the high standards the firm expects of itself and its lawyers. Nonetheless, it was the friendly, approachable nature of the trainees I spoke to after that stuck with me even more. I was amazed how personable a professional environment could be and was delighted to accept my job offer.
