Ariana Shaw is a fourth seat trainee solicitor in the Corporate M&A and ECM Department at Travers Smith.
Outside of work, I have taken up a fairly eclectic mix of hobbies over the past few years! After practising for one year, I recently taught myself to play Jools Holland's River Boogie Woogie on the piano. I have also been practising/learning to code and prototype apps and websites over the past few years.
I am part Australian, Italian, German and English, so a highlight was visiting Australia last year. Here, I tried surfing (with very little success). For the past year, I have also been learning Italian in order to speak fluently with my Italian friends and family.
Together with the leading work and excellent training, the genuinely friendly atmosphere led me to apply to Travers Smith. This was truly cemented whilst attending the Summer Vacation Scheme.
