Travers Smith LLP has advised Zoopla Property Group plc (ZPG), one of the UK's leading property sales websites, on its acquisition of Hometrack for £120m.
ZPG owns and operates some of the UK’s most trusted home-related digital platforms including Zoopla, uSwitch, PrimeLocation and Property Software Group and aims to provide the most useful resources for consumers when finding, moving or managing their home and be the most effective partner for related businesses.
Founded in the UK in 1999, Hometrack expanded to Australia in 2007 and is used by major mortgage lenders, housebuilders and government bodies in each country and now provides over 20 million automated property valuations each year.
The Travers Smith team was led by corporate partner Andrew Gillen with support from corporate partner Adrian West and associates Jonathan Walters, Ed Ainscoe, James Addison, Lucy Stephenson, Tom Sims and Brent Sanders.
