Travers Smith LLP is delighted to have been named "Commercial Litigation Team of the Year" and "Private Equity Team of the Year" at the annual Legal Business Awards. The Awards took place on 27 September.
Travers Smith were awarded "Commercial Litigation Team of the Year" for its representation of Hewlett-Packard companies ("HP") in the widely-reported US$5bn "tech trial of the century" arising out of HP's acquisition of Autonomy, a FTSE100 software company. The Travers Smith team was led by Partner Toby Robinson and Senior Consultant Andrew King.
Travers Smith were awarded "Private Equity Team of the Year" for advising Inflexion and all other shareholders, on the sale of Medivet Group Holdings Limited ("Medivet") to CVC Capital Partners VIII. The Travers Smith team was led by Private Equity & Financial Sponsors Partners Tom Hartwright and Lucie Cawood and Senior Counsel Joanna Roberts. They were supported by Senior Associate Matt Powrie, Associates Eric Van Winssen, Nikesh Arya and Caragh Jenkins.
