Travers Smith LLP has announced today the re-election of Chris Hale as the firm’s Senior Partner for a second term, in this case of two years, with effect from 1 July 2017.
Chris joined Travers Smith in 1983 and was made a partner in 1987. He was first appointed as Travers Smith’s Senior Partner on 1 July 2013 having been Head of Corporate since 2003. For most of his career at Travers Smith Chris has specialised in UK and international M&A and buy-out work and is founder of the firm’s Private Equity Group.
Travers Smith’s Managing Partner David Patient said: “Over the years Chris has made a huge contribution to our firm, and in the last few years has brought tremendous energy and leadership to the role of Senior Partner.
