As part of its wider Black History Month Programme, on 24 October, Travers Smith welcomed guests to its office for an evening showcasing and celebrating black music, performers and composers.
Performers on the night included the Powerhouse Gospel Choir, composer, jazz pianist and conductor, Ray Yiu, and musician and singer songwriter Kadialy Kouyate.
The Powerhouse Gospel Choir got proceedings off to rousing start in the firm's Auditorium, encouraging the audience to sing and dance along to popular numbers by black musicians.
Guests were then treated to a performance by Kadialy Kouyate, who played the Kora, a long-necked harp lute of the Malinke people of western Africa, before Ray Yiu closed proceedings with a number of songs played on the piano.
