As part of its commitment to greater gender balance and inclusion, Travers Smith LLP is delighted to celebrate International Women’s Day on 8 March.
The firm has planned a series of activities in support of the International Women’s Day 2017 campaign #BeBoldforChange. The campaign is a call for action to forge a more gender inclusive world and provides an important opportunity for ground-breaking action that can truly drive greater change for women.
Travers Smith’s Gender Balance Group is hosting a breakfast event to celebrate social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women throughout the history and around the world. It is also encouraging its members to declare bold actions to help progress the gender agenda which will accelerate gender parity across the world.
Additionally, Travers Smith is delighted be hosting the IBA 2nd Annual Women’s Group Leadership Summit on 8 March. The event, which has this year been organised to coincide with International Women’s Day, has attracted over 100 delegates. Keynote speakers include the IBA President Martin Solc and Rt Hon Baroness Catherine Ashton, Former High Representative, European Union for Foreign Affairs and Policy.
