Travers Smith LLP has announced today the recruitment of Ryan Fordham as the Head of Construction and Engineering, which is part of the firm's Real Estate Department. Ryan joins Travers Smith from CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang, and brings to the role a wealth of experience across the core real estate asset classes.
Ryan specialises in negotiating and drafting construction and engineering contracts on all of the major industry standard forms and bespoke forms including EPC and EPCM contracts, as well as pre-construction services agreements, professional appointments, security and all other ancillary construction documents. He advises developer, supply-side, landlord, tenant, investor and funder clients across a range of sectors including office, hotels and leisure, high-end residential, retail, mixed use, healthcare, utilities, energy and infrastructure.
Ryan's recent experience includes acting on the BCO award winning One St Peter’s Square in Manchester, the Post Building in London, Public Health England’s new state-of-the-art national science campus and headquarters in Harlow, HS2, Thames Tideway Tunnel and the Bank Station upgrade project.
