Travers Smith announces new Head of Finance 

Overview

Travers Smith LLP has announced the appointment of Charles Bischoff as Head of the Finance. Charles succeeds Danny Peel, who will continue to play a significant role in the practice as Head of Fund Finance.

Charles has been a partner at Travers Smith since 2012 having joined the firm in 2011, and specialises in Speciality Finance and Fund Finance, acting for a range of banks and non-bank financial institutions. Charles' key clients include Investec Bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Shawbrook Bank, HSBC Innovation Bank, Quilam Capital and Atalaya Capital Management amongst others.

Travers Smith's Finance practice comprises 7 partners and over 40 lawyers and have specialists with extensive experience in Leveraged & Acquisition Finance, Fund Finance, Speciality Finance, Real Estate Finance, Infrastructure Finance and Restructuring & Insolvency, as well as advising numerous corporate borrowers on their general financing arrangements. The team's clients are drawn from across a wide spectrum of industries and sectors, and its experience and versatility guarantees a first-class service that combines both technical excellence and commercial awareness.
