Travers Smith LLP has advised THG plc (THG) on its acquisition of Brighter Foods Limited, a specialist developer and manufacturer of snack bars, from Real Good Food plc for £43 million on a cash and debt-free basis. The acquisition is conditional upon the approval of Real Good Food plc's shareholders.
The transaction represents the third acquisition Travers Smith has advised THG on since its IPO in 2020.
The Travers Smith team was led by Corporate Partner Adrian West, assisted by Corporate Associates Ben Lowen, Ella Sharpley and Sophie Gayle-Farlow. Tax advice was provided by Tax Partner Russell Warren and Associate Anthony Reeves.
