Travers Smith LLP has advised the senior management team of Elysium, a leading UK-based provider of healthcare services, in relation to the proposed acquisition of Elysium by Ramsay Health Care from funds managed by BC Partners.
As a long-standing adviser, Travers Smith also acted for the senior management team of the business (then Partnerships in Care) in relation to the divestment of a portfolio of hospitals by Acadia to BC Partners in 2016.
Ramsay Health Care is a global health care operator with more than 460 sites across Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia and providing health care to over eight-million patients per year through a network of hospitals, day surgeries, specialist clinics and primary care units.
The transaction is due to complete in early 2022.
