Travers Smith advises Symphony Technology Group on the sale of its investment in System C to CVC Capital Partners

Overview

Travers Smith LLP has advised Symphony Technology Group ("STG") on the sale of STG’s investment in System C, the UK's leading health and social care software and services provider working in partnership with the NHS and social services, to CVC Capital Partners. It has also advised STG on the sale of a minority investment in Graphnet Health.

System C and, partner company, Graphnet together form the System C & Graphnet Care Alliance, a strategic alliance providing integrated IT solutions to the UK health and social care market. With over 350,000 users across the Care Alliance, they specialise in providing health and social care solutions that allow for the integration of services across whole care communities. They achieve this by linking information from multiple systems, integrating workflows between care settings and supporting multi-provider reporting and analysis.  Their solutions use leading-edge technologies - including mobile, wearables, instant messaging and machine learning - to radically redesign services and the way clinicians and patients interact together.

The Travers Smith team was led by Corporate Partner Andrew Gillen, with support from Senior Counsel AJ Venter, Associates Tom Halsey and Henry Thorpe, and Trainee Inge Swiegers. The team also included Tax Partner Russell Warren, Senior Counsel Elissavet Grout and Associate Aimee Hutchinson who provided specialist incentives and remuneration advice.
