Travers Smith advises Silverfleet Capital and selling shareholders on the sale of Cimbria to AGCO Your Agriculture

Travers Smith LLP has advised longstanding client Silverfleet Capital and other selling shareholders on the sale of Cimbria Holdings Limited ("Cimbria") to AGCO Your Agriculture Company ("AGCO"), for approximately €310 million. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2016. 

Cimbria, headquartered in Thisted in Denmark, is a leading global manufacturer of equipment used for seed processing and post-harvest grain handling. It has four production facilities in Denmark, Austria, the Czech Republic and Italy, and employs approximately 900 people globally. 

The Travers Smith team was led by private equity partner Will Yates, who was supported by senior associate Gemma Phillips. Additional specialist advice was provided by tax partner Russell Warren.

The selling shareholders were also advised by Baird in respect of corporate finance advice and Accura for Danish legal advice. Herbert Smith Freehills acted as legal advisers, led by partner Tomasz Woźniak and Rabobank acted as corporate finance advisers to ACGO.
