Travers Smith LLP has advised network solutions provider, Optinet, on its new agreement with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield to install their full fibre network in both the Westfield London & Westfield Stratford shopping centres. The installation of the Optinet full fibre network will bring a futureproof connectivity solution to the 950+ retail, dining and entertainment units at both Westfield sites in London.
Optinet delivers intelligent connectivity and network infrastructure solutions to commercial buildings across the UK. Since 2016, it has enabled over 200 buildings and connected over 2,750 offices.
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield is a dynamic global developer and operator of Flagship Destinations, with a portfolio valued at €49.6 billion as of December 31, 2023, and owns and operates 72 shopping centres, including 49 flagships in the most dynamic cities in Europe and the United States.
