Travers Smith LLP has advised the sellers on the sale of a UK solar business and assets to Bluefield Solar Income Fund, a UK-focused income fund that invests primarily in solar assets, for c.£100 million.
The Bluefield Solar Income Fund has acquired a portfolio of 15 operational solar parks with a total production capacity of 64.2MWp. The portfolio has 13 sites in England and 2 in Wales.
The Travers Smith team, which worked alongside Danish Counsel Accura, was led by Corporate M&A and ECM Partner Andrew Gillen, with support from Corporate Associate Victoria Robinson.
