Travers Smith LLP has advised TA Associates and Hg-backed mid-market software group The Access Group on its largest acquisition to date: the acquisition of CoreHR from US private equity firm JMI Equity.
CoreHR is a UK and Ireland market leader in HR and payroll software for mid-market & enterprise level businesses. Together with Access' existing market presence and following its recent acquisition of PeopleHR, which Travers Smith also advised on, The Access Group will become the HR and payroll leader in the UK and Ireland markets.
CoreHr's HR software currently services more than 270 customers, with more than one million users accessing its solutions. It has a strong presence across various sectors including the public, government & education, retail, hospitality and leisure and FMCG, distribution and manufacturing sectors and it serves some of the UK's most well-known organisations including Aston Villa FC, Cineworld, JD Sports and University of Oxford.
