Travers Smith advises on Lyceum Capital's investment in Churchesfire

Travers Smith LLP has advised longstanding client Lyceum Capital, a leading investor in UK B2B services and technology companies, on its investment in Churchesfire in an off-market deal valued at over £40 million. Lyceum Capital has acquired a majority stake in Churchesfire investing alongside management.  

The Travers Smith team was led by Private Equity Partner Will Yates with Corporate Associates Genevieve Marten, James Parker, Alistair Schaefer and Mutiat Obanigba. Tax advice was provided by Tax Partners Russell Warren and Jessica Kemp, and Associate Angela Tang. Finance advice was provided by Finance Partner Andrew Gregson and Associate Will Sheridan.

Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Southampton, Churchesfire is a nation-wide supplier of fire safety compliance services, including the provision of fire risk assessment and compliance training, and the installation, servicing and maintenance of fire protection systems. Churchesfire employs over 140 people and services over 8,000 commercial customers across the United Kingdom.

Lyceum Capital was also advised by Rothschild, PwC, and Credo.
