Travers Smith LLP has advised Litigation Capital Management (LCM) on the closing of its $150 million litigation financing fund.
The fund was cornerstoned by investors including US-based university endowments and the asset management division of a large global investment bank. Further participants include a fund of funds and family offices with significant experience in litigation finance investment.
The fund, which provides litigation financing solutions, will co-invest alongside LCM's AIM-listed balance sheet and will target global dispute finance investments, including both single disputes and corporate portfolio transactions.
The Travers Smith team was led by Funds Partner Sam Kay and Senior Associate Ed Ford with support from Associate Hannah MacDonald.
