Travers Smith has advised long-standing client Numis on the cash confirmation of the recommended takeover bid of Smoove plc by Digcom UK Holdings Limited, an indirect subsidiary of ASX-listed PEXA Group Ltd, the operator of a leading digital property settlements platform in Australia.
Smoove is a provider of technology-based solutions to the UK conveyancing market with products such as eConveyancer, a panel management service bringing together conveyancers and introducers such as mortgage brokers and lenders to offer a conveyancing comparison service to consumers.
The Travers Smith team on this transaction was led by Corporate Partner Ben Lowen, assisted by Associate China Waters. Finance advice on the deal was provided by Partner Katie McMenamin and Senior Associate Michael Leadbeater.
