Travers Smith LLP has advised Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) on its partnership with Broadstone, one of the UK’s leading independent providers of specialist pensions, trustee and employee benefits solutions.
Broadstone’s deal with ICG secures the financial backing to maintain and accelerate its ambitious growth plans and allows management to increase its stake in the business. Broadstone and 20-20 Trustees now employ over 400 professionals in eight offices across the UK.
The Travers Smith team was led by Private Equity & Financial Sponsors Partners Ian Keefe and Lucie Cawood with support from Private Equity & Financial Sponsors Associates Max Conway, Jess Cragg, Stuart Allan and Niki Mavronicola. Head of Financial Services and Markets Tim Lewis advised ICG on the financial services regulatory aspects of transaction and was supported by Senior Associate Sam Brewer and Associate Julia Robillard-Smith.
