Travers Smith LLP has advised Equistone Partners Europe Limited ("Equistone") and other selling shareholders on the sale of FirstPort, a leading UK residential property services company.
The Travers Smith team was led by Private Equity & Financial Sponsors Partners James Renahan and Emma Havas and also included Tax Partner Simon Skinner, Senior Counsel Elissavet Grout and associates Aimee Hutchinson and Tom Leatherby, Financial Services and Marketing Consultant Richard Everett, Competition Partner Stephen Whitfield and Corporate Associates Becky Dove, Claudette Smith, Oliver Murphy and Niki Mavronicola.
The financial terms of the deal are undisclosed and completion of the transaction remains subject to approval by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Equistone was advised by Deloitte on M&A, financial due diligence and tax due diligence.
Travers Smith acted for Equistone on the acquisition of FirstPort in 2019, as well as acting for FirstPort on a number of subsequent acquisitions.
