Travers Smith LLP has advised ECI Partners and senior management shareholders on the sale of Travel Chapter to ICG.
Travel Chapter is one of the UK’s leading holiday rental platforms, offering c.8,000 high quality properties across the UK. It has a number of consumer brands including its flagship brand Holidaycottages.co.uk and specialist lifestyle and regional brands such as Canine Cottages and Cottages & Castles, all focused on delivering exceptional customer service.
ECI partnered with Travel Chapter in 2018 and since then the business has grown strongly, expanding its geographic footprint and the number of properties it has available.
The Travers Smith Private Equity & Financial Sponsors team advising ECI on the sale was led by Partner James Renahan, supported by Senior Associate Stuart Allan and Associates Jaryd Davidson and Niki Mavronicola as well as Trainee Solicitor Kasope Sonola.
A separate Travers Smith team led by Senior Counsel Alex Dixon, supported by Senior Associate Matt Powrie and Associate Cari Sweeney, advised senior management of Travel Chapter on their reinvestment.
