Travers Smith advises Brooks Macdonald on a strategic, long-term partnership with SS&C

Travers Smith LLP has advised Brooks Macdonald, a leading investment manager with £13.7 billion in funds under management, on its long-term strategic partnership with SS&C Technologies, a global provider of software and technology services to the financial services industry.

Brooks Macdonald offers a range of investment management services to private high net worth individuals, pension funds, institutions, charities and trusts. The Group also provides financial planning as well as offshore investment management and acts as fund manager to two regulated OEICs (the IFSL Brooks Macdonald Fund and the SVS Cornelian Investment Funds) providing a range of risk-managed multi-asset funds and a specialised absolute return fund.

This partnership is the next step in delivering Brooks Macdonald’s vision as the leading investment manager for intermediaries, providing best-in-class adviser experience and client service through technology and innovation. The collaboration will provide an enhanced digital experience for Brooks Macdonald’s intermediaries and clients, including automated onboarding, full adviser and client portal functionality, bespoke reporting, as well as improved processing of applications and client and adviser requests.
