Travers Smith LLP has advised The Access Group, the UK's leading provider of software to growing mid-market customers, on its acquisition of Unicorn Training Group Limited and its subsidiaries ("Unicorn").
With more than £10m of revenues and in excess of 1,500 customers, Unicorn is the UK’s leading provider of learning technology solutions. The Access Group sees the addition of Unicorn to its Access Workspace solution as yet further confirmation of its intent to be the solution provider of choice to the UK’s thousands of mid-market and growing businesses.
The acquisition of Unicorn comes hot on the heels of the acquisition of Riliance, the UK leader for online training, compliance and risk management in the UK’s legal sector, on which Travers Smith also advised. This acquisition, in conjunction with the acquisition of Riliance, will establish the Access Digital Learning & Compliance Division and further enhances the portfolio of solutions available to all customers through Access Workspace.
