International Insights - Summer 2024

Edition 2: Summer 2024

International Insights - Summer 2024

Overview

A note from our Head of International

As we approach the summer months, I want to take some time to reflect on a busy quarter. One of my highlights has been hosting our annual firm-wide International Programme in April, where we welcomed 34 senior lawyers from firms within our international network to our offices for a week. The week entailed a variety of technical sessions, training workshops and presentations on a number of topics, alongside time to experience the working life of Travers Smith and cultural events throughout the City.

In this edition of Travers Smith's International Insights, we bring you a postcard from one of our international secondees, some exciting firmwide news and our recent headline deals and knowledge.

William Howard, Partner and Head of International

A postcard from...

London

In this series, we speak to our inbound and outbound seconded lawyers about their experience working at firms in different jurisdictions.

We dive into the differences in legal work, culture and what they've learnt from working in a new country. In this edition, we speak to Senior Associate Frithjof Schütte, who has been seconded to Travers Smith from Germany.
