Financier Worldwide: 'Environmental, social and governance (ESG) concerns have climbed the boardroom agenda in recent years. It is an area which requires innovative solutions and pragmatic problem solving. Organisations need to demonstrate their commitment to improving ESG performance. One way is to enhance stakeholder engagement around sustainability. Another is to listen and incorporate stakeholder feedback into corporate strategy. To get to grips with complex ESG issues, a thoughtful approach is needed. Balancing ESG issues that are most important to stakeholders and regulators will be a challenge going forward, but one organisations must accept. The financial and reputational risks are too high for companies to treat ESG as an afterthought.'
