The Pensions Regulator has published several pieces of guidance for trustees, employers and administrators on coronavirus related issues. Our updated summaries of the guidance are published here.
The Regulator is generally taking a proportionate and risk-based approach to enforcement in light of the challenging situation. Regulatory easements, where granted, are typically in force until 30 June 2020. The Regulator says that the Pensions Ombudsman will take into account the Regulator's guidance when considering complaints about delays.
