Through our CSR Programme, we aim to create meaningful, lasting and substantive partnerships with all the charities we work with.
Our work in supporting charities sits under two headings:
- Charity partnerships
- Travers Smith Foundation
Our charity partnerships and pro bono work alongside the Travers Smith Foundation are about utilising our skills to enable a positive social impact.
Through our CSR Programme, we aim to create meaningful, lasting and substantive partnerships with all the charities we work with.
Our work in supporting charities sits under two headings:
The firm provides substantial financial support to a major charity partner on a rolling two-year basis. Our major charity partner for 2023 - 2025 is Little Village.
Little Village run a network of baby banks across London, collecting, sorting and passing on high quality, pre-loved items to families in need. They also have a dedicated signposting and guidance team, who aim to support parents through providing access to resources and connections to other services. Families are referred to Little Village via an extensive network of professionals, including social workers, midwives and children's centres.
Over the two years of our partnership, Travers Smith will provide financial, volunteering and fundraising support that will help make a meaningful impact on Little Village and the families they work with. In addition, the firm will be providing pro bono legal support to the organisation.
You can make a donation via the Travers Smith General Donation page which can be found here: https://littlevillage.enthuse.com/cf/travers-smith-llp
Since its launch in October 2015, the Travers Smith Foundation has supported over 100 charities and not for profit organisations.
The Foundation is an addition to our ongoing commitments to our nominated and long-standing charity partners, and its aim is to support a wide range of charities and organisations by issuing small donations.
A broad range of charities, trusts and other not for profit organisations with an annual income of up to £1m are eligible to apply for a donation. If you would like to apply for a donation, please fill in the application request form below and we will email the application form to you.
Please note that the Foundation is primarily aimed at supporting smaller charities and community groups. If you wish to be considered for more substantive donations, please visit Section 1.
The Committee that oversees the Foundation meets on a quarterly basis to review all applications.
